The intended purpose of the ArtWorks web site is to promote the creative endeavors of the Spectrum community and in doing so help to displace the stigma associated with mental illness. Spectrum recognizes the awesome, positive healing effect that creating and displaying art has and offers a variety of creative groups to it’s members. These groups incude therapeutic arts programming as part of day treatment, hands on instructional groups like The Lighthouse Quilters and the award winning 26th Street Artists. We would like to thank United Way for the generous grant we received from them to help in producing this web site.
